Hi everyone.

First of all, I''m new to the VM world.

 I'm trying to convert a VMWare VM to a Virtual PC VM.

 
The vmdk is composed by the root file (Image.vmdk) and by 31 other file (Image-f001.vmdk.....Image-f031.vmdk). The whole image is of 70 GB.

 
For the conversion I open the root (wich is sized 2 KB), but the vhd file stop growing around 3,46 GB, even if the conversion tool continue to read the original 70 GB VM. Obviously, the 3,46 GB vhd doesn't boot (it says disk error on the boot).

The destination drive is an NTFS formatted 130 GB partitioned external HDD. Am I doing something wronk? I have the same proble trying to convert the vmdk with Winimage.

Another question: I have something to do with the .vmx  configuration file?
