I converted a vmware hard drive to vhd format, but when I set up the VirtualPC2004 virtual machine it  gives the error

Reboot and Select propoer Boot Device or insert Boot Media in the selected device.

 The original vmware harddrive was 3g, the converted vhd is 85k....

Have I dones something wrong?
